Family Camp Missionary
CHUCK AND JUDY GATES
Dr. Charles Gates, along with his wife, Judy, served as career missionaries of the Church of the Nazarene in South Africa for 10 years. They pioneered ministry among the Ndebele people before later serving in Johannesburg in leadership roles in discipleship and training and district missions.
Chuck and Judy have been long-time members of Erma Camp. Dr. Gates has served as president and now as a trustee on the camp board. Judy has served in many capacities including volunteering in the dining hall, opening their cabin for hospitality night, and so much more.
