2020 Camp Evangelist


Dr. Frey is the founder and president of the Master’s International University of Divinity. He is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene and the Missionary Church, U.S.A.

Dr. Frey has served in numerous ministry roles including evangelist, church planter, and pastor. In addition he has contributed extensively to the area of Christian education.

Some of Dr. Frey’s contributions and service include:

  • Developed international alumni association
  • Developed alumni student recruiting program
  • Developed scholarship fund program
  • Founder of Trinity Theological Seminary’s online Division
  • Pioneering work in online educational systems for theological distance education
  • Frequent traveler and tour host to Israel
  • Member of the International Board of Bridges for Peace, a Christian NGO headquartered in Jerusalem, Israel
  • Advisory board member of the Council of Private Colleges of America
  • Policy board member for Right to Life of Southwest Indiana

Dr. Frey holds an A.B.S. from Nazarene Bible College, an M.Min., M.Div., D.Min., and Th.D. from Trinity Theological Seminary; and M.B.A. and D.B.A. from California Coast University.

Dr. Frey honorably served in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1969.

Dr. Frey and his wife, Sharon, have been married for 52 years and reside in Newburgh, Indiana. They have two grown children and two grandchildren.
